Irvine driving test pass – James McClelland

Irvine driving test pass – James McClelland passing first time with 4 minor faults

Big well done to James McClelland of Irvine passing his test today so well first time at Irvine test centre. James came to the Driving School wanting to get his licence having just finished school to help with sharing the car to get about without public transport. Also by driving a car it would help for when he starts working. His main goal was to pass his test before going to sea to work in the Royal Navy, which he managed to achieve!

James was keen to do his lessons regularly each week and put in great effort to increase his skills behind the wheel. Through continued lessons James drove to a consistently high standard and passed his mock test in the run up to the real one. Despite setbacks he recovered any faults made and drove with increased confidence in his own ability. The result was a strong test pass of just 4 minor faults! James’s irvine driving test pass was a great delight for him and his instructor and hopes to use his new freedom on the road to buy a car soon to be able to drive to Glasgow and assist his family driving when needed.

Below he was kind enough to leave this review of his time learning to drive:

“I had Kevin as my instructor and he was brilliant! Always patient and helpful. He was always pushing me to learn and to give me the control of the car. He is also very friendly and easy to get along with which made me feel at ease from day 1. I couldn’t have passed my test without him!”
